    Do You S.H.A.G.?
    LARPers Wanted
Hello, I am just trying to get the word out about a portal that has been created to draw together LARPers in the Portland and Salem, Oregon, and Vancouver, Washington, areas. We are looking for all kinds of LARPers from boffer players, to socio-political players, to horror players, to comedy players, to medieval players, so on and so forth, to get together and network. There will be resources for GMs and Players from all backgrounds of games, and we are looking to add more. We are also looking to get the word out about games, conventions, and chronicles/long running games.
You can find the site at:

    Thanks!

Game Era is unethical and uses spam to drive up their traffic
TWO communities I maintain which are related to women gamers have now received spam linking to articles on the Game Era website.

This is not a coincidence, I feel, and I am determined to let members of my communities know NOT to patronize Game Era for articles.

Please spread the word that Game Era uses spam to try to promote themselves. Spamming is an unethical way to market your site and gamers, especially, should be offended for having their intelligence insulted like that.

Feel free to let them know you won't stand for it: http://game-era.com/contact

Anyone interested in next-gen? If not, skip the rest of the text. If so, please don't compare next-gen consoles because this is not a debate about wich one is the best. Just info on pricing.

Microsoft anounced today that the xbox 360 will come in two versions. One costing $299 U.S. Dollars (299€ for europe) will come with the Console, wired controller and standard AV-Cable.
The value edition of Xbox 360 will cost us $399 U.S. Dollars (399€ for europe)and will be packed with the Console, a headset, wireless controller, 20Gb Hard Drive, Hd-Av Cable, Media Remote, Xbox Live Silver Membership.

Components got priced also. Let's take a look at them:

    - 20Gb Hard Drive ($99.99 U.S. / 99.99€)
    - 64Mb Memory Unit ($39.99 U.S. / 34.99€)
    - Wireless Controller ($49.99 U.S. / 44.99€)
    - Play & Charge Kit ($19.99 U.S. / 19.99€)
    - Rechargeable Battery Pack ($11.99 U.S. / 14.99€)
    - Wireless Networking Adapter ($99.99 U.S. / 79.99€)
    - Headset ($19.99 U.S. / 19.99€)
    - Universal Media Remote ($29.99 U.S. / 29.99€)
    - SCART AV Cable ($29.99 U.S. / 24.99€)(Europe Only)
    - S-Video AV Cable ($29.99 U.S. / 24.99€) (U.S. Only)
    - VGA HD AV Cable ($39.99 U.S. / 29.99€)

I don't have much money so i may save a little more $ to buy the Value edition of Xbox 360 because it worth it. I would have to buy those accessories later on so, it get's less expensive if i buy it all together.
So, those are the options. With one will you buy?

    Legal Issues?
Hi there. I'm a gamer, and i like to do my own music videos with games footage. I was wondering if there if any law that forbids us from doing so? Because legal right are expensive...

Anyone else likes to make or see videogames music videos?
